Established by BOC Global Events and Training Group, the International Business Brilliance Awards are dedicated to recognising businesses that provide brilliance in leadership across 13 different categories.

With the awards ceremony taking place on December 1st, 2022, in Kensington, London, BizSmart® has been shortlisted as one of five finalists for UK Business of the Year, and its Founder, Kevin Brent, has been shortlisted alongside four others for Business Leader of the Year.

Where the Business Leader of the Year award is dedicated to an individual that ‘demonstrates outstanding enterprise, innovation and entrepreneurial flair’, the UK Business of the Year Award is designed to celebrate a ‘UK company whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled it to out-perform its peers financially, and for a company that has delivered on a compelling business strategy.’

This shortlisting comes after a period of significant growth for BizSmart®, achieving an increase in turnover of 155% over the last two years, and launching its second franchise, BizSmart® Birmingham and Solihull, to further strengthen its delivery of business support services throughout the West Midlands region.

Kevin Brent, Founder of BizSmart said: ‘We are delighted to have been shortlisted for UK Business of the Year and Business Leader of the Year, at this year’s International Business Brilliance Awards.

2022 marks a significant milestone for BizSmart®, having celebrated our 10th year in business, and with the launch of our second franchise in Birmingham and Solihull. Dedicated to helping business owners break free from the ‘owner-manager’ trap and scale to 7-figures and beyond, I am proud of what the BizSmart® team has achieved over the last 12 months and feel being shortlisted for both awards echoes the growing recognition that we are gaining across the franchise and business support industries.

We are proud to have reached this last stage of the award process and now forward to the awards ceremony in December.”
